WHY ARE THE COMMERCIALS SO LOUD?!
As I sit back relaxing on my couch one evening watching an eventful night of Tuesday television I noticed I had to continue turning down the volume, by about ohhh 9 vertical lines on the volume scale, when my regularly scheduled programming was interrupted by a commercial. What is the deal? Is this some type of attention grabber? Personally, the only thing that is grabbed is my annoyance. I must stop writing now because my thumb still hurts from changing the volume last night. Pathetic, I know.
