Let's do the Mash Potato!

My brother's getting married this weekend, finally (he's nine year's older than me). I feel like I've been waiting too long for my chance to shine as a best man and because most of my friends can't even hold down a girlfriend I figured my bro was my best chance.

As planning began I quickly realized that my dream would not be actualized (at least in this wedding). It was decided that the wedding was going to be very untraditional (aka small) and there would be no wedding parties. They don't even want the words "God", "Lord", or "Holy Spirit" in the service, but that's a whole other story.
So what was my role to be? Ring bearer? Bar tender? Flower bro? Nope...
Try DJ!

I've spent a good amount of time digging through my entire music collection to find the perfect songs for both the eating and dancing portions of the reception.

Here's a taste of some of the artists:
-De La Soul
-Prince
-Bjork
-Marvin Gaye
-Beastie Boys
-Otis Redding
-Buddha Bar
-Lionel Richie
-A Tribe Called Quest
-Typical Cats
-P Funk
-James Brown
-Led Zepplin
-Interpol
-Red Hot Chili Peppers
-Jackson 5
-Outkast
etc...

Random, huh?
What would you put on a wedding playlist?
Send me an MP3 via email and I'll play it on my brother's special day.

Love you Dan

Are they having any sort of processional/walk down the aisle? If so, what music will be playing at that crucial moment?

I really think you'd love The Cat Empire (www.myspace.com/thecatempire), and they're always good for a party.
